This section is devoted to events that have been successfully organized in the framework of the FP6 ASIACOOP initiative and of its follow-up project, the FP7 COJAK project.
What kind of events have been organised?
Cooperation Forums on ICT Research
The objective of Euro-Japan Cooperation Forums on ICT Research is to contribute reinforcing the EU-Japan cooperation framework and to provide the European and Japanese ICT communities with efficient support in the development of their cooperation efforts (network with key stakeholders in the ICT research field, identify potential cooperation partners, present ICT research project to a high-level audience, learn more about FP7, etc.).
Seminars
The objective of Euro-Japan seminars is to meet organisations already (or ready to be) involved in EU-Japan cooperation projects on ICT Research and understand from them how the cooperation framework could / should be improved to allow an enhanced development of collaborative projects.
FP7 Awareness Workshops
These workshops aim at promoting the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) and the ICT theme among the Japanese ICT community and at introducing objectives and activities of the COJAK project.
ICT Cooperation Events
Such events are a combination of a Seminar and of a FP7 Awareness Workshop.
